The Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation recently gave Christian Family Solutions (CFS) a grant to purchase laptops and wireless headsets, ensuring that counseling services for students could continue during school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI and Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, WI, serve a combined 800 students, all of whom have access to Christian Family Solutions counselors through secure video counseling. Providing this continuum of care has been important as students grappled with a new normal and endured unprecedented change.

With over a decade of telehealth experience, Christian Family Solutions was prepared to continue serving students through remote sessions. The transition to telehealth required more and updated equipment for counselors to successfully connect with students. These additional costs were significant, especially during a time of economic uncertainty.

Grants such as this helped update and improve equipment for counselors so they could continue to serve remotely. CFS is grateful for this generous contribution.
